These terms cover your use of One Orbit. They are short because the product is simple: you give us a birth moment, we compute a chart, and we write a reading about it.
What One Orbit is
One Orbit computes your natal chart from real astronomical data — the Swiss Ephemeris, the same source used for astronomical work — and produces a written reading anchored to those positions. Every claim in a reading carries the degrees behind it so you can check the reasoning rather than take it on trust.
The astronomy is calculated. The interpretive text is generated by a language model working from your computed positions. We say this plainly because you deserve to know before you pay, not after.
What One Orbit is not
A reading is for insight and planning. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and it must not be used in place of a qualified professional. Do not make a medical decision, a legal decision, or a significant financial one because of something a reading said.
Astrology is interpretive. We are precise about the astronomy and honest about the interpretation, and we do not claim a reading predicts the future or determines what will happen to you.
If you are in crisis, please contact a local emergency service or a crisis line. One Orbit is not equipped to help and will not pretend otherwise.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use One Orbit.
- Give us accurate birth details. A chart computed from the wrong moment is a chart of somebody else, and we cannot detect that for you.
- Keep your login to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has reached your account.
- If you buy a reading for another person, only enter their birth details with their knowledge.
Payment
Readings are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Prices are shown before you pay and charged through Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Where a founding rate applies, the price you are shown at checkout is the price you are charged — the two come from the same source, so they cannot disagree.
The Daily Orbit, when it opens, will be a subscription you can cancel at any time from your dashboard.
Refunds
Set out in full on the refunds page. In short: before your reading is generated, a full refund with no questions; after it is delivered, fourteen days.
What belongs to whom
Your reading is yours. Keep it, print it, share it, quote it. Your birth data and anything you write inside the app remain yours entirely.
The engine, the writing, the brand and the site are ours. Please do not resell readings, scrape the service, or use it to build a competing product.
We will never use your reading, your journal, or your chats as a marketing example. Not anonymised, not "with permission" gathered in a checkbox. Never.
Availability
We will keep One Orbit running and your readings reachable. It is a small operation, so we do not promise a particular uptime figure — but if something breaks and you have paid, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
